Dial-A-Ride

The Visalia Transit Dial-a-Ride service is a curb to curb service designed to provide comparable paratransit service for individuals with disabilities who are not able to use the fixed route service. Dial-a-Ride also provides same-day service to the general public (non-ADA certified passengers), but are limited to same day reservations and space availability. Visitors who are ADA certified through another agency can use the Visalia Transit Dial-a-Ride service for 21 days within a 365 day period to make reservations in advance, without completing a Visalia Transit ADA application.  

If you would like to apply for ADA certification with Visalia Transit, complete and submit a copy of the ADA Application to Visalia Transit. Please mail or drop off the original application to 425 E. Oak Ave., Suite 301, Visalia, CA 93291. If you are a visitor who is not ADA certified through another agency and would like to use the Dial-A-Ride to make reservations up to two weeks in advance, please fill out a visitor's form. Please mail the form and requested documents to 425 E. Oak Avenue, Suite 301, Visalia, CA 93291. You may also e-mail the visitor's form and documents to Visalia Transit. Please contact Visalia Transit for further instructions.

Additional Children $2.25
Monthly Fast Pass $75.00
10-Ride Punch Pass $32.50
ADA 10-Ride Punch Pass $22.50

 

Reduced fixed route fares are available for the following card holders:

Visalia Transit does not operate on New Year's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. Visit our Holiday and Service hours page for details on holiday and service hours. 

*ADA certification allows reservations to be made up to two (2) weeks in advance. All General Public or Non-ADA passengers are limited to same day requests for trips. Same day requests are scheduled only as space is available. Cancellations should be made as far in advance as possible and at a minimum of one full hour before your reserved pickup time.
