General Services

The City of Visalia General Services department is responsible for overseeing transportation resources (Airport and Transit services) as well as General Services divisions such as Facilities and Properties, Information Services, and Parks and Urban Forestry within the City of Visalia.

Airport Services

The Visalia Municipal Airport is committed to meeting the aviation travel and recreation needs of the community. Visalia Municipal Airport is located five miles west of downtown Visalia, conveniently located near the State Routes 99 and 198. In addition to serving as transportation hub for all cargo and corporate aircraft activity in the Tulare/Kings county areas, the airport also offers air charter services through several private charter companies.

Transit Services

The City of Visalia's Transit Division operates numerous mass transit services. Travel conveniently from neighborhoods to major shopping centers, local schools, medical offices, and work sites on Visalia Transit fixed-route.  For those who need curb side pick-up and drop-offs, Dial-A-Ride para-transit services can get you there. Visalia Towne Trolley is a fun way to get around Visalia's great Downtown District. Youth can also get from schools to near-by recreation centers via the Loop Bus. And if you are looking to enjoy the majestic Sequoia National Park, the city operates Sequoia Shuttle from Memorial Day Weekend through early September.

Transit Division and services are located at: Visalia Transit Center
425 E. Oak Ave. Ste. 301, Visalia CA. 93291
