Tipton Mineral King Sewer Repair Starts 12/2

The Tipton Mineral King Sewer Repair Project will start Tuesday December 2, 2025 and will repair damaged sewer within the area.
“Phase 1 construction will consist of the removal and replacement of approximately 200 feet damaged sewer line,” shares Cody Mclaughlin, Associate Engineer, and Project Manager, City of Visalia. “Mineral King Avenue will remain open to traffic, with temporary closures of the middle lane.”
Improvements include the removal and replacement of sewer line located in Mineral King Avenue as well as the cured in place lining sewer lines along Mineral King Avenue from Tipton Street to Bridge Street as well as sewer line along Tipton Street and Santa Fe Street.
Construction is is anticipated to be completed by January 2026.
Phase 2 construction will install cured in place lining of sewer lines along Mineral King Avenue from Tipton Street to Bridge Street as well as sewer line along Tipton Street and Santa Fe Street.
Mineral King Avenue will remain open to traffic with lane shifts as needed to complete the work.
“Traffic lane shifts will be posted on the roadway with crews directing traffic, as necessary," adds McLaughlin. "We ask everyone to slow for the cone zone and stay alert while traveling the area.”
The work is being performed by Insituform Technologies and overseen by the City of Visalia Engineering and Building Department.
