With rain in the forecast, the City of Visalia Public Works Department has stocked the self-serve sand station at 335 N. Cain St.

Starting at 5 p.m. Thursday, November 13, Visalia residents will be able to pick up sandbags (limit eight per residence/household) from the sandbag station located at 335 North Cain Street. The sandbag station will remain open 24 hours a day during the rain event.

Sand and sandbags are self-serve and are available to Visalia residents only, on a first come, first served basis. Please bring your own shovel.

Supplies are limited and will be monitored and restocked as needed by Public Works staff. Please remember, there is a limit of eight sandbags per household. These materials are provided to help protect structures and divert water during the storm.
