With rain in the forecast, the City of Visalia Public Works Department has stocked the self-serve sand station on Cain Street.

Starting at 8 am. Tuesday, October 14, Visalia residents will be able to pick up pre-filled sandbags (limit eight per residence/household) from the sandbag station located at 355 North Cain Street. The sandbag station will remain open 24-hours a day during the rain event.

Pre-filled sandbags are available to Visalia residents only, on a first come, first served basis.

Supplies are limited and will be monitored and restocked as needed by Public Works staff. Please remember, there is a limit of eight sandbags per household. These materials are provided to help protect structures and divert water during the storm.
