The City of Visalia wants to hear from residents on what they’d like to see in a new City website!

Community members are invited to attend the upcoming City Council meeting and two listening sessions, where City staff will be on hand to receive feedback on what Visalians want to see in a new site.

“The City’s current website was launched in 2015 and at the direction of Council, staff are now working with the vendor CivicPlus to begin the process of developing a new website. Our goal is to modernize the City's digital presence, enhance access to services, and foster greater civic engagement,” shares Allison M. Mackey, Communications & Brand Manager. “We invite Visalians to join us at our next City Council meeting and provide comment or attend one of our upcoming Listening Sessions to share their thoughts and ideas on what they’d like to see.”

Residents are invited to attend one, or all three of the feedback opportunities:

“Our goal of the presentation and the listening sessions are to share details of the project and solicit feedback from community members. We invite everyone to attendand help in the process of this exciting project,” added Mackey.

In compliance with the American Disabilities Act, those that need special assistance to participate in these meetings are asked to contact the City of Visalia at (559) 713-4535.

For those unable to attend, community members are invited to submit comments and feedback to [email protected] through Wednesday, September 17, 2025.

A survey will be posted online starting Wednesday, September 3 that residents can also fill out, all details on the planning process can be found at www.visalia.gov/NewWebsite.
