VPD Announces Sergeant Promotions

Visalia Police Chief Jason Salazar has announced the promotion of two Visalia Police Department employees to the position of Police Sergeant.
Agent Daniel McBride and Agent Cole Sinatra have both been promoted to Sergeant within VPD.
About the Officers
Daniel McBride started his law enforcement journey in 2007 with the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office and joined the Visalia Police Department in 2020.
"His dedication led him through various roles, from Patrol to the Violent Crimes Unit, and now as a Police Sergeant at the District 1 Substation, holding a criminology degree from Fresno State University," shared Chief Salazar.
Cole Sinatra’s journey began in 2008 with the Tulare County Probation Department, leading to the Tulare County Sheriff’s Office, and finally to the Visalia Police Department in 2020.
"With experience in Patrol and as a Field Training Officer, Cole now steps into the role of Police Sergeant at the District 1 Substation, he's armed with degrees in criminology and organizational leadership," added Salazar.
