Hilti Celebrates New Location
On Wednesday, June 19th, Hilti unveiled their new 166,000 square foot new combined warehouse and Value Added Service Center in Visalia on North American.
"The Hilti team has been hard at work to make today a reality, and we are all very pleased to see this trusted global business continue to grow here in Visalia," stated Bob Link, City of Visalia Mayor.
The new distribution center is the largest center for Hilti in the United States.
Hilti is a Liechtenstein multinational company that develops, manufactures, and markets products for the construction, building maintenance, energy and manufacturing industries, mainly to the professional end-user.
Hilti opened their first warehouse in Visalia's Industrial Park in 1995 with 32,000 square feet. In 2004 Hilti relocated to a warehouse with 45,000 square foot of space.
In 2014, Hilti opened the Value Added Service Center with an additional 20,000 square foot space.
With members of the community, the Visalia Economic Development Coorporation and the City of Visalia present, Hilti cut the red ribbon on the newest center, officially opening it for business.
"Over 25 years ago Hilti committed to helping us build a stronger future here in Visalia with their first Industrial Park location and it’s wonderful to congratulate them today on their latest expansion," added Link.
