Houston Road Work Complete
The final phase of the Houston Avenue paving is now complete and open to traffic.
- Soft spots were removed and replaced with new aggregate base to strengthen the structural section and to avoid future roadway failures.
- The contractor overlaid Houston Avenue from Turner Street to Dinuba Blvd with Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) providing a new driving surface.
- The contractor is currently working on adjusting manholes to grade.
- Temporary reflectors are in place and permanent traffic striping will occur toward the end of September to early October.
