City Council 1/16 Meeting

Due to the MLK Jr. holiday, the next meeting of the Visalia City Council will take place on Tuesday, January 16th at the City Council Chambers in City Hall West.
The City Council agenda will be finalized this Friday, January 12th and will be posted here on the City website under City Government.
The Work Session will start at 4 p.m. and includes the introduction of new employees from Community Development, PD and Transit along with the review of the Annual Measure T and Measure N Audits.
The Regular Session will kick off at 7 p.m. and includes, but is not limited to, Consent Calendar Items:
- Council review to potentially authorize funding from the Visalia Measure N Youth Grants Program to Arts Visalia, Boys & Girls Club of Tulare County and ProYouth/Visalia PAL.
- Request authorization to record Notice of Completion for the 2017 Cape Seal Project (RFB 16-17-80) funded by Measure N.
Regular Items and Public Hearings include the discussion and possible approval of the 2017 Visalia Short Range Transit Plan, which includes fare increases, route and schedule changes, plans for development of future Transit facilities and a five-year operating, capital and finance plan.
