Fire Damages Business Office in Central Visalia

This morning at 3:30 a.m., the Visalia Fire Department responded to a reported structure fire located at 1103 W. Center Ave.
The first arriving unit found a moderate amount of fire coming from the rear porch area of the business and moderate smoke showing from inside the structure and attic area.
Fire crews made an aggressive fire attack and the fire was brought under control in approximately 20 minutes.
A multi-agency event, the Visalia Police Department, The Gas Company and Southern California Edison also responded to the incident.
The exact cause of the fire is undetermined, however, the approximate property value of the property was $325,000 dollars with the fire causing approximately $160,000 in damage to the structure and contents.
