Citizens Sought for Aquatic Complex Committee
City of Visalia Council Member and aquatics advocate Greg Collins is seeking citizens interested in serving on a committee that will explore the potential development of an aquatic complex.
Topics to be examined by the committee will include location and design, marketing and programming, operations and maintenance, and fund raising. Persons representing the many facets of the aquatics community, including, but not limited to, swimming, water polo, diving, lap swimmers, seniors and swim lessons are welcome.
In addition, individuals who work with disadvantaged youth, youth organizations and citizens that are interested in this next chapter of Visalia history are welcome to inquire.
No previous committee or local government experience required. If interested in serving on this committee, please submit your name, aquatic experience (if any) and whether you are part of an organization or are a private citizen by email to firstname.lastname@example.org
