One of the most iconic airplanes from World War II, Douglas C-47/DC-3, “Old Number 30,” will make a stop at the Visalia Municipal Airport on Wednesday, May 10th and Thursday, May 11th from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. each day.
Climb aboard the C-47/DC-3 combat legend cargo aircraft to soak in the breathtaking stories of courage and service by American veterans during one of the most important periods in U.S. history. The C-47/DC-3 was an aircraft of stunning beauty and technological achievement that was used for countless top secret missions during World War II.
Tours cost $2 per person and $5 for a family of four. Rides on the C-47/DC-3 are $150 per seat and are limited to 12 passengers per flight. Ride reservations are required.
