Heavy Rain is Here

The National Weather Service Hanford reports that active and wet weather is returning to our area, beginning this morning and continuing over the next 48-hours.

While City crews have remained working to keep storm drains and roads clear, a little help can go a long way.

Now is the time to make sure all trash & yard waste is in City-issued containers and that any automotive leaks or spills are cleaned up. Clear your drains and rain gutters before the weather gets worse and help your neighborhood by clearning up trash and debris on your street

The City of Visalia has sandbags available at the Self-Serve Sand Bag Station, located on Cain Street, in between Goshen and Main Street. It is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for all City of Visalia residents. There is a 15 bag limit per household and you will need to bring your own shovel.

For questions, contact the Visalia Fire Administration Office at 559-713-4266 during business hours and or (559) 713-4244 if it after business hours of on a weekend.
