Construction continues for the City’s Fairview Sewer Project along Riggin Ave between Giddings Street and Divisadero Street. Starting Wednesday, June 29th the closure will change and Riggin Avenue will be closed from Conyer Street to Giddings Street.
Residents living along Riggin Avenue will have access throughout the closure and notices have been delivered to residents by the Contractor.
The current closure along Riggin Avenue, between Divisadero St. and Giddings St. will continue until Wednesday, June 29th. During this 24-hour a day closure, traffic has been detoured to Ferguson via Mooney Boulevard and Giddings Street.
The new closure along Riggin Avenue between Giddings Street and Conyer Street will immediately follow as Riggin Avenue will be closed from Giddings Street to Conyer Street. Also a 24-hour a day closure, the closure will last approximately eight weeks. During this time the City will be reconstructing the roadway and installing a new sewer main in Riggin Avenue from Giddings Street to Conyer Street. Traffic will be detoured to Shannon Parkway via Giddings Street and Dinuba Boulevard.
