The City’s current website was launched in 2015 and at the direction of Council, City staff are now working with the vendor CivicPlus to modernize the City's digital presence, enhance access to services, and foster greater civic engagement with a completely new website.

As requirements for government websites have changed, so have the needs and desires of the community.

City staff know that community feedback is an important part of the new website planning,  design and launch. Through three public meetings and a community survey, residents provided their thoughts and suggestions on what they'd like to see in the new City of Visalia website. This information is being used to help shape our work and the new website. Thank you!

Under Construction

City staff continue to work with CivicPlus, a public sector website leader, in designing our new website. As updates are available, they will be posted here. 

The new website will modernize the City's main digital presence, enhance access to services and foster greater civic engagement. An important component of the new website, it will meet Department of Justice Civil Rights Division Requirements.

Components of the New Website Include:

- Completely new website

- SeeClickFix (currently known as VisaliaWorks): A solution that empowers residents to report issues, identify repair needs and ask questions of City staff.

- Social Media Archiving

- NextRequest: An all-in-one public records request portal

- AudioEye: A digital accessibility tool, focusing on web accessibility compliance

The City of Visalia is using SeeClickFix, an online service request system to power its mobile app and reporting forms. SeeClickFix is an application that allows City of Visalia residents to report non-emergency related issues to the city. SeeClickFix can be used via the internet on a desktop computer, laptop, mobile phone, or tablet.

SeeClickFix is a public application. The description entered will be visible to the public. Your display name will also be visible unless you choose to submit as Anonymous. Your email address will never be displayed publicly.
