Visalia is conveniently located in the heart of California, directly at the midway point between Los Angeles and San Francisco/Sacramento.  It is a convenient 3-hour drive from either location, off the 99 and 198 Freeways.

Additionally, Visalia is surrounded by many opportunities to explore the great outdoors. Often referred to as the “Gateway to the Sequoias," Visalia is the closest major city to Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks.  Sequoia and Kings Canyon National Parks are home to some of the largest trees on Earth, the Giant Sequoia trees.

We are very proud of the many fine restaurants, cafes, microbreweries, antiques stores, shops, and boutiques in Visalia; over 50 restaurants are within walking distance of the Visalia Convention Center.  Local chefs are prepared to “whip up” house specialties featuring local produce giving you a taste that is uniquely Visalia.
