|The City of Visalia's parks and trails provide an inviting array of recreation opportunities for residents and visitors alike. From tot lots and playgrounds, to picnic areas and sports fields, parks provide fun for all! Our trail system is an exciting amenity which invites residents and visitors alike to enjoy the natural beauty of our community.|
Ammenities vary from park to park, and some locations allow
for bounce houses, water slides or alcohol permits to be purchased to
enhance the event. These permits can only be obtained with a paid
reservation at areas that allow such ammenities. Permits may be added up until
noon one business day prior to the event, and reservation contracts must be
presented at the time.
Although all of our parks and trails are open to the community, not all of our parks and trails have areas that are available to rent. For the areas that can be reserved, individuals or groups may fill out a reservation application for a specific park, arbor or the St. John's trail.
Reservations for park arbors will be accepted until 5 p.m. on the third business day prior to the scheduled event. Reservations can be made online here or in person at our business office located inside the Anthony Community Center (located at 345 N. Jacob Street, Visalia, CA) between the hours of 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.
To contact our staff by telephone, call (559) 713-4365, 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. You can also send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To reserve an entire park or trail, you must complete the reservation application and a City of Visalia Special Event application no later than 60 days previous to the desired event date. For more information on the City's special event process, visit the Special Events page.
