Passport Services - Temporarily Suspended Due to COVID-19

We offer passport services at the Passport Services window inside City Hall West. Passport processing can also be done at the United State Post Office on Beech or at the Tulare Public Library in Tulare.

Passport Fees:

- Regular Service: Please be advised that as of May 31, 2019, the US Department Of State has changed the processing time for routine service to 6 – 8 weeks (outside of busy travel times, the usual processing time is a return in 4-6 weeks).

- Expedited Service: Return in 2-3 weeks (add $60.00 to Passport Fee)

Passport fees and City fees must be paid separately. Each passport application will need to be accompanied by its own individual check. Total City fees can be combined to payment via check, money order, Visa or MasterCard.(Ex: A Family of three (3) applies for passports. Three(3) individual checks will be made payable to the US Department of State and one(1) check made payable to the City of Visalia for the amount of $105. (3 x $35 = $105)
