Joint Powers Authority Groundwater Sustainability Agency

The City of Tulare, City of Visalia and the Tulare Irrigation District have entered into a Joint Powers Authority Agreement to form the Mid Kaweah Groundwater Sub Basin Groundwater Sustainability Agency Board (The Board) in compliance with the Sustainable Groundwater Management Act of 2014 to protect existing surface water and groundwater rights.

The Board meets on the second Tuesday of each month at 3 p.m., subject to cancellation or additional meetings as necessary.  Meetings are held at the Tulare Public Library & Council Chambers, 491 North "M" Street, Tulare, California 93274.
