2016 Strategic Planning Workshop Scheduled

The Visalia City Council will hold its strategic planning workshop on Friday, January 29th.

An informal forum, the workshop is an opportunity for the members to get together and discuss their shared vision for the city. Unlike regularly scheduled City Council meetings, the Council will not take action on specific items but use the time to address the City’s priorities for the year.

Open to the public, the workshop will be held at the Visalia Convention Center and begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, January 29th. The retreat is scheduled until 5 p.m., but will extend into the evening as topics and discussion require.

City staff will be on hand to provide presentations to the Council and answer questions while citizens in attendance will have the opportunity to offer comment and discuss items they would like the Council to consider.
