Permit Tracking System To See Update
As part of the new permit tracking system update, the Customer Service Counter located at 315 E. Acequia Ave. will be closed Friday, April 27th and reopen Monday, April 30th at 1 p.m.
"The City of Visalia is preparing for a new permit tracking system that will enable faster plan check process, easier submittals and better handling of the business licensing," shared Nick Mascia, City of Visalia Community Development Director. "These changes are part of the City’s continuing efforts to provide better service to the public."
During this transition, the Customer Service Counter located at 315 E Acequia will be closed all day on April 27th, and re-open Monday, April 30th at 1 p.m.
The following in-person submittals/processing services will be affected:
- Building Permits
- Business Tax
- Encroachment Permits
"Inspections that were scheduled for the 27th and the 30th will continue as normal," adds Mascia.
Please note that inspection scheduling for new inspections via our online portal will be unavailable during this transition, however calling our normal inspection line at 559-713-4452 will allow leaving a voicemail inspection request.
