February Business Boon
Visalia has hit the ground running with the start of the new year. Several prospective projects are in the works and numerous notable developments have begun the process through site plan review in the last few weeks.
Some of those notable projects include:
- The Housley Corporation is expanding into a new location on Kelsey, south of Goshen. The new site will be utilized for crushing and grinding of materials, general trucking delivery, and general engineering.
- ServiceMaster by Benevento is looking to expand with four new buildings at its Visalia location at 744 East Douglas. One of the buildings will be leased out to a separate tenant.
More spec industrial space, both large and small, is coming online with:
- Two new storage/warehouse spaces (4000 and 5000 SF) have been proposed on Plaza Drive east of Pershing Ave.
- Diversified Development Group (DDG) is proposing another 689,000 SF of large spec building space on top of the 402,000 SF they just finished constructing at American and Riggin. The 402,000 SF is nearly fully leased. The 689,000 SF is being proposed at the southeast corner of Plaza and Riggin and comprises of four new buildings, the smallest being 120,000 SF and the largest at 236,400 SF.
