Operation Fix A Chia Pit Back for 2018

Did you know that over 50% of the dogs that come into the Visalia Animal Care Center are Pit Bulls or Chihuahuas?

To help curb the overpopulation of these dog breeds, the Visalia Animal Care Center has brought their Operation Fix A Chia Pit into 2018.

A free spay and neuter program for Visalia residents, the Operation seeks to help control this segment of the pet population, keeping Pit Bull and Chihuahua breeds out of the shelter.

To be a part of Operation Fix A Chia Pit, come to Visalia Animal Services (29016 Hwy 99), provide proof of Visalia residency, fill out the paperwork, purchase or apply for a license and pay for a microchip. A discounted microchip and license must be purchased in order to take advantage of the program.

For more information, contact Visalia Animal Services at 713-4700.

For updates on this program and many others, follow Visalia Animal Services on Facebook or Instagram.
