Everyone's favorite North Pole resident is slated for a few special visits right here in Visalia and you're invited.
On Thursday, December 14th and Saturday, December 16th, Visalia Parks & Recreation welcomes the jolly ol' elf himself for "Story Time With Santa". A program for children ages 1 to 12 years, Santa visits with all the boys and girls as he reads stories, leads sing-a-longs, decorate cookies and enjoy hot cocoa.
Both dates are open for registration now, and are $25 per child. Photos with Santa will be available during the event from 6 - 7 p.m. and space is limited! To register, or for more information, register online at www.liveandplayvisalia.com or call the Parks & Recreation Business Office at (559) 713-4365.
On Friday, December 15th from 3 - 6 p.m., Santa will then stop by the Visalia Transit Center for FREE photos. There will be one free photo per family, courtesy of Visalia Transit.
Santa will be located inside the Transit Center, at 425 E. Oak Ave. He's making his list and checking it twice, so make sure you're extra nice and swing by to tell him hello.
For those who take photos, all photos will be available for pick-up at the Visalia Transit office starting Wednesday, 12/20 and will be available until Friday, 12/22. For more information, call the GreenLine at 1-877-40 GO GREEN.
Before he gets the reindeer ready and heads back to the North Pole, Santa will make one more stop at rink for photos at Ice Skate Visalia. On Saturday, December 16th from 4 - 6 p.m., Santa will be at the Garden Street Plaza ice skating rink for free photos. There is no charge to attend the event at the ice rink, only a $10 fee to skate. For more information, visit www.iceskatevisalia.com.
