Industrial Summit Coming 10/26
The South San Joaquin Valley Industrial Collaborative is planning the first-ever Industrial Summit on Thursday, October 26th, 2017 at the Southern California Edison Energy Education Center, 4175 S. Laspina Street, Tulare, CA. The purpose of the collaborative is to provide a platform to build industry-led, community-supported partnerships to strengthen regional economies in the South San Joaquin Valley.
This summit is designed to celebrate local industry that have called South San Joaquin Valley their home, increase B2B networking, and offer educational and informational breakout sessions that are designed by the employers that are part of the collaborative. The full-day event will feature vendor booths, keynote speakers from industry leaders and several educational and informational breakout sessions with topics of interest identified by industry partners e.g. robotics, workforce development, water issues, emerging technologies, human resources, tax incentives, energy efficiency, green technology and much more.
With the recent announcements of Faraday Future choosing Hanford to manufacture their all-electric cross-over vehicle; and Green Power Bus, breaking ground in Porterville to manufacture their all-electric double decker bus, the South San Joaquin Valley is becoming the hot bed for green transportation industry as well. Both Faraday Future and Green Power Bus will be in attendance. The Summit provides a great opportunity for local manufacturers and suppliers to showcase their products and services.
