Active and wet weather is returning to our area, beginning later today and continuing through the weekend.
This is the first of a series of Pacific storm systems, to move into our area, bringing rain and mountain snow, along with strong gusty winds and a slight chance for thunderstorms.
The next storm will arrive on Friday, followed by another storm on Sunday into Monday.
The City of Visalia has sandbags available at the Self-Serve Sand Bag Station, located on Cain Street, in between Goshen and Main Street. It is open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for all City of Visalia residents. There is a 15 bag limit per person and you will need to bring your own shovel.
