Residential Can Tags

Red/Yellow Tags City Ordinance 8.28.110 (k)  - It is an infraction to dispose of any waste not designated for a particular container in that container. If prohibited waste is included, it shall be deemed contaminated. It is the responsibility of the tenant and property owner to make sure the containers assigned to this property are not contaminated. No charge for the first emptied contaminated container, (unless yard waste container was found to be full of all trash, or if trash was hidden under the green waste.  In these cases an immediate contamination fee will be).

Orange Tag- City Ordinance 8.28.210 Restrictions and 8.28.220 Enforcement  - It is an infraction to place anything other than specified recyclable material, as defined by the Director, into source separating recycling collection containers, bins or boxes, including organic collection containers.
