After School at The Manuel
Breeze into the fun at The Manuel! This center provides technology and programs for youth in our community. The drop-in program provides a safe space where youth can work, learn, and become designers and creators. Youth work side-by-side with Leaders to develop a passion for technology with STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) based activities, hands-on clubs and the opportunity for leadership, growth, and self-expression. Additional activities include fun dance clubs, sports, and crafts.

Cost: Free

Grades: Kindergarten – 12th (Minimum age 5 yrs.)
Participants in 9th – 12th grade (must show current school ID)

Days: Monday - Friday 

During School: 2:45 – 5 p.m. (November - February)
2:45 - 5:30 p.m. (March - October)

12:30 p.m. start time on VUSD Minimum Days
1:30 p.m. start time on VUSD Early Release Wednesdays

During School Breaks: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. (Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall)

2024 Closed: Jan. 1, 5, Feb. 19, May 27, July 4, Sep. 2, Nov. 11, 28, 29, Dec. 24, 25

All participants must register prior to attending The Manuel. Registration forms are available at the Manuel F. Hernandez Community Center and online.
