Fire Investigations

The Fire Investigation Unit is very active in cause and origin investigations, public education, continuing education, and illegal fireworks enforcement detail(s). The primary goal of the unit is investigating the cause and origin of all fires. The Visalia Fire Department has six personnel trained in fire investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office. The Fire Investigation Unit is overseen by the Fire Marshal.
