Self-Help Enterprises - The Lofts at Fort Visalia: The Lofts is an 80-unit multi-family affordable housing complex. The Lofts includes studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom units for low-income households. The Lofts also includes a large central gallery for Arts Consortium programs and community events, an Acoustic center for My Voice Media Center, Fort Visalia Heritage Room, Fort Visalia Plaza, community kitchen space, computer lab with internet, laundry center, and spacious outdoor courtyard with BBQ grills. Self-Help Enterprises - Highlands Gardens Multi-Family Project:  The City of Visalia contributed $1,980,000 in HOME funds toward the Self-Help Enterprise multi-family development, located at Highland Avenue, west of State Highway 63, between Riggin and Ferguson Streets.   For more information about Highland Gardens, Self Help Enterprises first affordable rental project in Visalia click the link above. Paradise and Court: The City of Visalia provided HOME-CHDO and Redevelopment Low/Mod funds to Visalia Interested in Affordable Housing (VIAH) and Kaweah Management Company to acquire, renovate and develop 20 units. Kaweah Avenue Multi-Family REO Rehabilitation Project: Kaweah Management Company has purchased 2 dliapidated triplexes which were in foreclosure. The RDA provided a $480,000 loan toward the acquisition and new construction.  8 new units were constructed in 2012, for rental information, contact Tulare County Housing Authority (http://www.hatc.net/).

Kaweah Triplex for Mentally Challenged Adults: Kaweah Management Company secured a $340,000 redevelopment loan and has rehabilitated a triplex across from the Tulare County Library on Encina.  The Development provides housing for severely mentally challenged adults, for rental information, contact Tulare County Housing Authority (http://www.hatc.net/).
