Traffic signals to be installed at Mooney and Goshen:
Work began last week on the installation of traffic signals at Mooney Boulevard and Goshen Avenue. Construction is expected to last to mid-April. The project includes installation of traffic signal poles, modifications to the railroad lights and equipment, and the construction of new curbs at the northwest and northeast corners of the intersection. The conduits for the traffic signals will be bored under the street, so there will be no open trenches through the roadway. Minor traffic control during non-peak hours may occur throughout the project.
